Ever since we got married, Chad and I host his family’s Thanksgiving meal.  His family brings yams, green bean casserole, drinks, rolls, and empty tummies – we take care of the rest.

This year for Thanksgiving, I’ve been using Pinterest to help plan the menu:

Grandma Katherine’s Thanksgiving Turkey Stuffing
This is the stuffing recipe my family has always used passed down from my mother’s mom. I no longer stuff the turkey (it freaks me out!) I now make it in a crock pot and then bake it in the oven while the turkey is “resting” and it is still as amazing as I remember.

Apple Pie with Whipped Cream Vodka Crust (Recipe)

The extra fun part is that once we are done we clean the kitchen and then head over to my family’s thanksgiving!  I’m so THANKFUL that we have so many loved ones near and great food to share!
