A long time ago I read a quote that was something to the effect of,

“The most interesting adults I know, still don’t know what they want to be when they grow up.”

I took that to heart a little too literally.  I like to do everything and nothing.  I’m a jack of all trades, master of none.  I love, do, and participate in a lot of things but I especially love to write and tell stories.  That might explain why I’ve been blogging since college (I’d rather not share how long ago THAT was) and though the titles and the subjects have changed over the years, and here you have stumbled to my current little corner of the internet.

My favorite color is blue.  Other favorite things are all things Disney, tech, writing, reading, design, photography, Stephen Colbert, running collecting medals, Pinterest, watching cartoons, organization inspiration, cute (and comfortable) running clothes, using acronyms semi-ironically, Target, Harry Potter, Batman, animals – especially dogs, singing in the shower, video games, cooking, food, wine, music, and hunting for the best garlic fries – with fry sauce of course.

The coolest thing that ever happened to me was when Kristin Chenoweth invited me on stage to sing with her at the Deer Valley Summer Concert Series.  She killed it.  I kept up.  NBD.

If I were to describe my life in three songs they would be:

  1. In My Life – The Beatles
  2. Father and Son – Cat Stevens
  3. Make Your Own Kind of Music – Mama Cass Elliot

What I most often love to share are my attempts at interior design, our dog, organizing, cooking, gardening, bird watching, medal collecting, sometimes the running that wins those medals, and travel.
