We adopted Bella in September of 2010. On her cage she was identified as half Jack Russell Terrier and half Norfolk Terrier. With a little research on our part we found that Bella has a much richer and more complicated history than that.
You see, once upon a time a Female Lion (who loved prowling, lounging in the sun, and sitting on window sills) and a terrorist (who loved terrorizing villages) fell in love...
Some time later a Rough Coat Jack Russell Terrier (who hated birds and was a racist) and a Norfolk Terrier (who loved everyone, everything and snuggling) became star-crossed lovers, defied all odds and had puppies.
And because the Lioness had to take her cub children to America to escape persecution it just so happened that one of her offspring fell madly in love with the Norfolk/Jack Russell and they of course had one pup:
Bella; the Jack Russell Norfolk Lion Terriorist
Bella spends her days stalking her prey (birds, cats and cars), sitting on the window sill, sleeping in the sun, working on being less racist, terrorizing the villagers and being photographed by Mama. Sometimes she allows us to lavish her with loves and take her for long walks.
We're fairly certain she is either plotting to kill us in our sleep... or snuggle with us. Either way we love her very much.
